In perfect weather last Saturday, the Hamilton Clay Target Club held its monthly championship shoot. Peter Cleggett was again the star winning both events and shooting with exceptional skill to shoot 97/98 for the day.
The first event was the President’s 50 target double barrell event, with only 3 shooters being able to score the possible 50/50. To shoot off were Peter Cleggett of Hamilton, Noel Sharrock of Wimmera and Steve Collins of Hamilton. Collins dropped out after only one shot and a further 17 shots were fired before Cleggett took the honours from Sharrock.
