Last Saturday Hamilton hosted the South West Zone Skeet Championships as well as the Club Double Skeet
Championships.
Winners in the Zone Championships were Overall and A grade – Peter Cleggett of Hamilton with a score of 48/50.
Runner-up was Scott McIntyre of Hamilton on 42/50. B grade saw Jack Mathey of Sebastapol on 39/50 just edge out
Ron Simson of Mount Gambier on 38/50 whilst Hamilton’s Steve Collins took C grade with the second highest score
of the round - 44/50 - from Les Wines of Warrnambool on 39/50.

Cleggett wins South West Zone Skeet Championships
The Club Double Skeet Championships proved to be a lot harder with lower scores all round.
Overall and A grade winner was again Peter Cleggett making it a double winner on the day.
His score was 41/50. Ron Simson was the B grade winner with a score of 34/50 and
Steve Collins also was a double winner on the day taking the C grade with a score of 35/50,
again the second highest of the round, from Brad Manders of Hamilton on 34/50.
